Here's the deal. I am not a medical doctor. I am merely a person who has had an aortic dissection and I was frustrated that I could not find a "central" location that helped explain about what exactly it was and how to live with it.

NOTE: This site has EXTERNAL links to other sites as there's absolutely no way to house everybody's information on one site. With the vast amount of information out there, a linking to other websites via external links from my site is a requirement.

My main goal of this site is to help other people become more educated about aortic dissections and where to find answers. I am just trying to help and hopefully save some lives by having the knowledge about your condition when you are in the ER room or when you discover signs that you or someone you know is having or had an aortic dissection and needs help fast!
